MASTER OF DIVINITY PROGRAM

The Master of Divinity (M.Div) degree is a comprehensive 3-year program designed to develop leaders for church and kingdom ministry.

MASTER OF BIBLICAL STUDIES (MBs)

ZTUC offers a master’s degree in Biblical studies that can be earned either onsite or online. This Biblical Studies degree is designed to provide studies with an enhanced understanding of biblical and theological studies for personal development and pedagogical enrichment. The program integrates biblical exposition with theology to equip students for transformative ministry.

Biblical theology

Historical and Cultural frameworks for interpreting the Bible

Exegetical and hermeneutical methods for interpreting the Bible.

The integration of Biblical truths and theology with cultural contextualization.

DIPLOMA IN MINISTRY / THEOLOGY

The Diploma of Ministry is a one-year course, and is available on both a full time and part time basis.

The Diploma of Ministry is a one-year course (full time equivalent), and is available on both a full time and part time basis. The course normally consists of the first two semesters of the Bachelor of Ministry.

The course provides initial studies at degree level as preparation for further study or as foundational for students’ ministry calling, and offers opportunity for students to begin preparing for evangelical/charismatic Christian ministry and leadership. It also prepares students for ancillary ministry and vocational roles which require the integration of biblical and theological knowledge with the practice of ministry. It will allow for people with life or ministry experience to gain formal qualifications for ministry in the church and the wider society.

Students who successfully complete the Diploma in Ministry may articulate into the Bachelor of Ministry. Students who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Ministry may exit with the Diploma of Ministry, subject to the completion of course requirements.

Zioncity Theological University College (ZTUC) regards the Bible as the final referent particularly as it applies to defining and shaping Christian Ministry. In the light of this distinctive orientation, the personal, theological, and ministry dimensions of the course are integrated under the authority of Scripture as the revelation of God developed within theological reflection arising from Scripture and applied in ministry and mission.

BACHELOR IN PROPHETIC MINISTRY:

Students wanting to enter the 60-credit Bachelor Degree in Prophetic Ministry program must have completed a Diploma in Ministry or an equivalent of 60 credit hours.

The Bachelor Degree in Prophetic Ministry prepares students either for ordained ministry in a Christian church, Bible College or for a wider engagement in society.

Upon the successful completion of the Bachelor Degree in Prophetic Ministry program, the students should be able to:

serve in ministry such as a local church and develop abilities and virtues that will prepare them for their prophetic calling and career

provide an in-depth Biblical foundation to supply the values, knowledge and skills needed to effectively serve in church ministry

demonstrate a good understanding of theological and Biblical interpretation

provide foundational knowledge of the major prophetic disciplines of Christian ministry

explore the Christian prophetic doctrine and how it developed

formulate essential principles of the prophetic ministry

develop initial skills for prophetic ministry

achieve personal growth in the prophetic ministry through the integration of theory and practice

Understand how to discern the voice of God and know when God speaks

Understand Spiritual gifts as applied to the office of a Prophet
